Bag of Hope

In the spirit of Christmas and in the spirit of sharing, the Siena College Christian Community Formation and Development Services (SCCCF&DS) once again spearheaded the “BAG OF HOPE,” a program aimed at providing our less fortunate brothers and sisters a taste of Christmas through Noche Buena Packages.  This year, the beneficiaries belong to the Pamayanan ni Madre Francisca Partner Families from Sitio Penestra, Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.

The Basic Education Department responded enthusiastically to the invitation to support our partner families and, on the 18th of December 2014, they were able to put together sixty five (65) noche buena packs and these were distributed personally to the beneficiaries by different class representatives, together with Mr. Eduardo Evangelista, High School Coordinator for Student Affairs and Activities, and Mr. Renato Logatoc, Director of SCCCF&DS.  The families were very grateful for what they received.

Bag of Hope

On the first day of 2015, a huge fire hit a depressed community in Masambong, Quezon City. The SCCF&DS and Outreach Center prepared one hundred twelve (112) packs of canned goods, noodles and toiletries and six (6) big boxes of assorted used clothes to help the affected families. The members of the Holy Redeemer Parish Church Inaman, Quezon City were the ones who distributed the relief goods on our behalf.

To our PARENTS, STUDENTS, ALUMNI, ADMINISTRATORS, BENEFACTORS and PERSONNEL, our deepest gratitude.
